Manchester City believe they should get a fee upwards of £40 million should Gabriel Jesus leave this summer, according to a new report.
The Brazil international is expected to take up a new challenge in search of regular minutes with the World Cup in Qatar on the horizon.

Arsenal and Tottenham are believed to have held a long-standing interest in the former Palmeiras star, who joined Manchester City for £27 million in 2017.
Whilst Arsenal are understood to have held positive talks with Jesus' representatives for months, the prospect of playing Champions League football next season and challenging for major trophies could tempt the attacker into joining Real Madrid.
It was reported this week that Real Madrid are considering hijacking Arsenal's pursuit of Jesus, who has also attracted interest from the likes of Juventus and Atletico Madrid.

Furthermore, the information amongst some quarters is that despite their interest in Jesus, Arsenal believe Manchester City's £50 million valuation of the forward is excessive for a player who is entering the final 12 months on his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
However, according to a new report by Pol Ballus of The Athletic, the Premier League champions are hoping to get a fee more than £40 million for Jesus should he leave in the upcoming transfer window after the Brazilian scored a string of crucial goals in the business end of the previous campaign for the Blues.
Jesus is still yet to hit his prime and his camp have been exploring their options away from Manchester for a long time.

After yet another season where Jesus failed to establish himself as an assured starter at Manchester City, the Brazilian could very well be heading for an exit ahead of what will be a crucial few months into the new campaign as Jesus hopes to secure a starting spot for him country at the World Cup.
Manchester City have already secured the arrivals of Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland and River Plate's Julian Alvarez to freshen their attacking options to go and challenge on all fronts again next season.
The further uncertainty around Raheem Sterling's contract situation could see the Premier League champions cash in on two of their current forwards, with both Ilkay Gundogan and Oleksandr Zinchenko also recently linked with a potential exit.
