Manchester City’s Jack Grealish has praised the club’s new signing Erling Haaland ahead of the upcoming season.
The Norwegian striker was signed from German side Borussia Dortmund earlier in the transfer window for a reported fee of £51.2 million.
The 22-year-old has caused excitement to be rude among the Manchester City fanbase so far - without even playing a minute for the club, with just his interviews and training clips enough for the majority to be convinced.

City themselves kicked off on their pre-season tour in the early hours of Thursday morning with a 2-1 win over Mexican side Club América in Houston’s NRG Stadium.
A first-half brace from Kevin De Bruyne was enough to ensure the win for the Blues in what was a feisty encounter.
Pep Guardiola handed debuts to City new boys Stefan Ortega, Julian Alvarez and Kalvin Phillips but Haaland did not feature for he club he grew up supporting on his 22nd birthday.

One player who did feature was City’s marquee signing from last summer, Jack Grealish, who began the game on the left wing.
The former Aston Villa skipper was brought in for a British record fee of £100 million and looked lively from the off in midweek, soon becoming entangled in the heated game.
The England international tussled with América goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa after what appeared to be a foul on the Birmingham-born player in the opposition area.

Grealish, 26, was interviewed after the encounter and was asked about Erling Haaland, who watched his new club earn a narrow win from the sidelines.
“Once he reaches full fitness, he will be unstoppable,” said Grealish, as quoted by Jack Gaughan of the Daily Mail.
“He actually said to me, ‘I’m only half the price of you so I haven’t got the pressure!'. He’s so down to earth and quite up front with the way he is.”
Evidently, the excitement around Haaland’s arrival has extended beyond just the fans and now the Norwegian’s presence in the team is even thrilling his fellow players.

It is not hard to understand why - given the immense level of talent that Haaland possesses in his attacking game.
In just 88 appearances for Dortmund, the Leeds-born forward scored 85 goals and set up another 22 goals - numbers that could do immense damage in the Premier League title race.
Pep Guardiola will be hoping Haaland can slot straight into the side given the club has won back-to-back league titles largely in the absence of an out-and-out number nine.

City’s next and final game of their pre-season tour of the United States will be a showdown with German champions Bayern Munich at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin at 00:00 BST on Sunday.
City fans, Grealish and Haaland himself will be keen on making his debut in sky blue against the Bavaria outfit - which would be poetic given Munich are his old side Dortmund’s biggest rivals.
