After returning from his holidays early, Gabriel Jesus will now be an Arsenal player in time to join up for their pre-season preparations which are set to begin in the coming weeks.
Manchester City held now reservations about letting the player leave the club this summer.
Etihad Stadium officials have significantly strengthened their forward line since January, having secured the signatures of River Plate striker Julian Alvarez and Borussia Dortmund's superstar striker Erling Haaland.

The West London outfit have also been linked with Oleksandr Zinchenko and Nathan Aké, as Thomas Tuchel looks to bolster his squad.
Chelsea are under new ownership and are in need of a statement signing to kickstart that era
Sterling would certainly tick all of them boxes and his international pedigree must be desirable for a lot of clubs around Europe.

Barcelona and Real Madrid were both credited with an interest in the past, but Chelsea were quickly established as the frontrunners this week.
