Premier League winner with Manchester City, Fabian Delph has announced his retirement from football, in a statement on social media.
Delph retires as a free agent, and a former played England international.
Originally a player of Bradford City from an early age, Fabian Delph moved to Leeds United at the age of 11.

After 46 matches for the Yorkshire club in League One and in the Championship, he then made the move to Premier League side Aston Villa in the summer of 2009 for a fee of £6 million.
In July 2015, Fabian Delph then joined Manchester City for a fee of £8 million.
On Tuesday afternoon, the former Premier League winner has confirmed his retirement from the sport.

A statement on the 32 year-old's Instagram page read:
"So today I announce my retirement with nothing but happiness and gratitude for what this beautiful game has given me.
"Massive shout out to my family, friends, players and staff from the amazing clubs I have been fortunate enough to represent as well as the support I have had from the fans."
Fabian Delph made a total of 89 appearances for Manchester City.

Playing under two managers in Manuel Pellegrini and Pep Guardiola, Delph secured an impressive six trophies across his time in Sky Blue.
With two Premier League titles to his name, the former England international will undoubtedly go down as one of the most integral players in the Manchester City side during the 2017/18 and 2018/19 campaigns.
His two English top-flight titles were also accompanied by a treble of League Cup crowns, as well as an FA Cup to his name.

Speaking in 2021, Pep Guardiola was keen to name drop Delph in a discussion on Joao Cancelo, making a point of the importance of his converted left-backs during his time at the club.
Guardiola said, "When we buy a player like Joao (Cancelo), we think he will play wide but when we talk to him, like with (Oleksandr) Zinchenko and (Fabian) Delph who play incredibly well.
"Fabian was key to our first Premier League (title win)," he continued.
