Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has provided further details on the injury severity concerning star striker Erling Haaland.
The Norway international was absent from Manchester City's first-team matchday squad for the first time this season on Saturday afternoon.
City had travelled to Leicester's King Power Stadium, knowing that a win would take them to the top of the Premier League table, albeit potentially temporarily given Arsenal's next game on Sunday afternoon.

A stunning free-kick from Kevin De Bruyne ensured Manchester City came away with all three points, and then Erling Haaland's absence did not prove detrimental.
However, after the game, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was pressed on the situation surrounding Erling Haaland, after the striker was spotted attending medical assessments on the foot injury sustained in midweek in Germany.
Speaking after the 0-1 win over Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, Pep Guardiola was asked when Erling Haaland could make a return to Manchester City action.

While the Catalan coach could not offer a definitive date on a return, he did reveal more details on the injury itself and a rough estimate on when the player could make his next City appearance.
Guardiola told the BBC, "I don't know (when he will return).
"He has ligament damage," he continued.
"He feels better, we have one more week."
The Manchester City manager then went into details as to which games Erling Haaland could next play in.

The Premier League champions have four games remaining before the international break for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar - a tournament that Haaland will be absent from due to Norway's failure to qualify.
"He won't play against Sevilla (in the Champions League) because we've already qualified," Pep Guardiola said.
"Hopefully against Fulham he can help us.
"If not, he might play against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup."
Manchester City return to action on Wednesday night, as they host Spanish side Sevilla at the Etihad Stadium.
