Manchester City were hit with a major injury scare this week, as Erling Haaland underwent scans on a foot problem sustained in Champions League action on Tuesday night.
City were held to a rather drab 0-0 draw against the Bundesliga giants this week.
Despite the nature of the game, and the dropping of two points, the result was enough to have secured Manchester City top spot in Group G of the Champions League.

That means the Premier League outfit will face one of the group runners-up when the draw is made for the knock-out stage of Europe's leading competition.
While the night was ultimately a success for all those concerned, City left Germany with one significant injury problem to have to contend with in the days that followed.
Erling Haaland was withdrawn at half-time with a foot problem, and while the issue is not understood to have been too serious, the outpour of concern from supporters has been prevalent.

However, despite complaining of 'discomfort' in his foot against Borussia Dortmund this week, Manchester City can now breath a sigh of relief.
According to the information of Jeremy Cross at the Daily Star, Erling Haaland has been cleared of serious damage to his foot.
The report reveals that the Norway international striker was sent for tests on Wednesday at the Manchester Institute of Health & Performance.

In a rather concerning detail, it is stated that the club's number nine was spotted 'limping' into the facility.
Haaland is said to have spent 'around an hour' at the centre, having his foot examined and undergoing routine tests.
Nevertheless, the former Borussia Dortmund striker was 'all smiles' when leaving, without the need of crutches or a protective boot - much to the relief of all those concerned with the Premier League champions.
Ahead of the weekend's fixture in the English top-flight, Pep Guardiola is expected to provide a more detailed update on the fitness of his striker.

The Manchester City manager is scheduled to sit down and take questions from the press on Friday afternoon.
Elsewhere, City are also expected to see greater improvement in the recoveries of both Kalvin Phillips and Kyle Walker, with the former having returned to individual, on-field training this week.
