Pep Guardiola has provided a fresh update on the fitness of Erling Haaland, ahead of Manchester City's Champions League clash against Sevilla on Wednesday night.
The Norway international striker missed the previous outing against Leicester City via the foot injury sustained in the last matchday of the Champions League.
Haaland was withdrawn after the first-half of action against Borussia Dortmund, with Pep Guardiola later revealing that the 22 year-old had sustained a foot injury.

The injury was one of three reasons behind his withdrawal in Germany, as Pep Guardiola explained after the match, “Erling had a bit of fever before the game, Joao (Cancelo) as well.
"I saw him tired, Joao as well. That’s why we change it. In that period we struggled a lot."
“Three things: I saw him so tired," Guardiola continued, last Tuesday.

"The second one, he had a bit of a fever, like Joao (Cancelo). The third, he had a knock in his feet. That is why he wasn’t able to play in the second half.”
Speaking after the 0-1 win over Leicester at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon, Pep Guardiola revealed that Haaland had sustained ligament damage.
"I don't know (when he will return)," the Catalan coach told the BBC. "He has ligament damage. He feels better, we have one more week."

However, Erling Haaland is currently walking with no difficulties, sources have told City Xtra.
The Manchester City striker is certainly not showing any signs of limping despite the foot injury sustained last week.
Speaking ahead of City's final Champions League group stage game against Sevilla this week, Pep Guardiola ruled out Haaland for the match, despite the Norwegian 'feeling better' in his recovery from the foot problem.

Pep Guardiola told reporters during his pre-match press conference, "He feels better.
"Comparing to Saturday, Sunday, Monday, every day feels better."
He continued, "Still not 100%, we don't want to take a risk.
"Hopefully we have him against Fulham (in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon)."
