Confirmed line-ups: Manchester City vs Crystal Palace (Premier League)

Manchester City host Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium in their fourth Premier League game of the season on Saturday afternoon.

Manchester City take on Crystal Palace in their return to Premier League action at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Pep Guardiola's men were held to a 3-3 draw last time out against Newcastle as the exciting Magpies went toe to toe with the Premier League champions at St. James' Park.

Ilkay Gundogan scored his second goal of the campaign, with Erling Haaland netting on the hour mark before Bernardo Silva capped off a fine individual display with a goal on his first start of the season.

City went out to Spain to hold warm weather training in Girona ahead of their midweek charity friendly with Barcelona at Camp Nou.

The Blues were held to a second 3-3 draw in four days as Julian Alvarez, Cole Palmer and Riyad Mahrez netted for Guardiola's side in Catalonia.

Alvarez made his first competitive start for City since joining from River Plate this summer, with Kalvin Phillips and Stefan Ortega also part of the starting XI.

Having let in six times in the past week, Manchester City will want to assure things in defence when they welcome Crystal Palace to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

The Eagles have responded well to their 2-0 opening day loss to Mikel Arteta's Arsenal at Selhurst Park with four points of six against Liverpool and Aston Villa.

Patrick Vieira's side enter their upcoming Premier League game in a good spell of form following their midweek triumph over Oxford United in the Carabao Cup.

Palace came away with a shock 2-0 win when they visited Manchester City last season, with Wilfried Zaha and Conor Gallagher netting on either side of the interval.

Guardiola will be keen on getting his side back to winning ways ahead of a tough run of games across all competitions starting from September.
