'The Scariest Man On The Planet' Calls Out Thor Bjornsson Following Victory Over Eddie Hall

'The Scariest Man On The Planet' Calls Out Thor Bjornsson Following Victory Over Eddie Hall

"I don't know if I'd 'knock him out' but I'd win. I'd back myself, 100 per cent."

Martyn 'the scariest man on the planet' Ford will face off against Sajad 'Iranian Hulk' Gharibi in a boxing match next month – but he is already looking ahead to a possible bout against Thor Bjornsson.

Ford, who stands at a towering 6ft 8 inches tall, is a well-known British actor, bodybuilder and personal trainer with over three million followers on social media.

He has trained in the MMA discipline for a number of years but has yet to take part in an official fight. But that will all change on April 2, when he takes on 390-pound weightlifter Gharibi at the O2 Arena in London.

Last weekend, Ford took a well-deserved break from his training camp to attend Eddie Hall's boxing bout against Thor Bjornsson in Dubai.

All three judges scored Bjornsson the winner 57-54 and he deseverdly claimed the Titan belt after picking up two knockdowns over his bitter rival.

After the fight, Ford spoke to iFL TV about the event – and went on to call out Icelandic strongman and actor Bjornsson in what would be a quite remarkable match-up.

"I'm just gutted for Eddie, as a friend. But I'll tell you what, I'd definitely f***ing knock him out," he said.

"I'd take Thor, 100 per cent, 100 per cent. In my eyes, technically, he's good, he's been coached well. But I'd take Thor, 100 per cent, I don't know if I'd 'knock him out' but I'd win. I'd back myself, 100 per cent."

Ford says he would take the bout, but only with Eddie Hall's blessing. "If Eddie versus Thor can be made and Thor wants to carry on boxing, we aren't a million miles away from each other," he said.

"I don't have anything personal against Thor, I don't even know the guy. Technically, I'd genuinely back myself.

"I'm not taking anything away, this is Eddie's night, I'm here for Eddie, I'm not here for calling out anyone.

"Thor wants to stay in boxing, do I wanna do some boxing? F*** yeah. If Eddie wants me to do it, would I do it? F*** yeah.

"If Eddie don't want me to do it, would I do it? No, I wouldn't."

Ford added: "He's been taught very well, nice movement, composed, but he's not f***ing venomous, man.

"I know you don't want to go all there, but there's no snap in the punch. I'd genuinely back myself, back myself."

Thoughts on a potential match-up between Ford and Bjornsson? Who would come out on top?
