A series of heavyweight super-fights involving Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua is “being arranged in the Middle East,” according to Simon Jordan.

WBC title holder Fury and unified champion Usyk appeared set for a mega-unification showdown at Wembley on 29th April before their fight fell through.

Usyk’s team accused Fury of making “unacceptable” demands for the fight, while Fury’s co-promoter Frank Warren suggested Usyk was looking “for a way to get out.”

The 36-year-old Ukrainian star is now set to face Daniel Dubois after the WBA enforced his mandatory challenger, with both parties believed to be in talks.

Joshua, meanwhile, made his long-awaited return to the squared circle earlier this month after his back-to-back defeats to Usyk.

The 33-year-old British star, who is a two-time unified champion, secured a unanimous decision win over Jermaine Franklin at the O2 Arena in London.

Former WBC champ Wilder bounced back from his two consecutive defeats to Fury with an explosive first-round KO victory over Robert Helenius in 2022.

Speaking on talkSPORT Boxing, Jordan revealed that he had heard rumblings of a series of fights being arranged in the Middle East involving the heavyweight division.

The talkSPORT pundit claimed that the three fights would see Fury clash with Usyk while Wilder would face Joshua.

And the two winners of the aforementioned fights would then face one another in the Middle East for the “ultimate showdown.”

“I wanted to talk about the landscape of what is likely to be happening in the heavyweight division,” Jordan said.

“Because there’s a lot of things going around…

“There’s a lingering observation and, I suppose rumour, that’s seeded I think in some substance -- that there is a series of fights being arranged in the Middle East that involve Fury, Usyk, Joshua and Wilder.

“Three fights being made which is Fury vs Usyk, Wilder vs Joshua and the two winners of those fights meeting again in the Middle East for the ultimate showdown.

“That would align with the dynamic of the reasons why Anthony Joshua isn’t fighting until December.”

Responding to Jordan, talkSPORT Boxing co-host Spencer Oliver added: “You’re getting some good information.

“I think that’s a very likely outcome, a very likely outcome.”
