The former UFC champion offered his support to the 24-year-old and said he wants to see a rematch without the rehydration clause.
"He’s 1-0 on you, you’re the two biggest names in the division, I want to see it again," the UFC fighter told Garcia. "I want to see it again now, and I want to see it with no rehydration clause. Seriously.
"All the respect in the world to you. You’re the future, you’re the future of this game, and I’m going to watch you all the way."

McGregor also met Mayweather Sr as the pair had a hilarious chat, with the Irishman hoping to do some work with the veteran boxing coach.
Someone captured their animated chat, with the 'Notorious' showing off his hands during the clip.
McGregor, who fought Mayweather Jr in a money-spinning boxing bout in August 2017, hasn't fought since his crushing first-round defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.
