KSI calls out Alex Wassabi for pulling out of their fight

KSI has slammed fellow YouTuber Alex Wassabi for pulling out of their scheduled fight.

Wassabi was originally going to be KSI’s - also known as JJ Olatunji - opponent for the night of YouTube boxing taking place this Saturday.

Wassabi was excused from the fight due to a concussion issue, but KSI clearly believes it was less authentic than first thought.

“I am determined, focused and I always get what I want eventually. With Alex Pussabi p*ssying out of the event, he didn’t want the smoke and he didn’t want a piece of me.

“I am fighting two boxers because I want to challenge myself. I have worked hard, I want to prove to everyone that I am someone to be reckoned with. When people realise what I can do in the ring, they will not want to call me out.”

Earlier in the conference, Olatunji - who is the co-founder of Misfits boxing - spoke about the prosperity of his own event ahead of the fights.

“It is awesome to see all of these YouTubers come together for the first-ever Misfits event. It was all about making sure everyone wins and everyone is included.

“The YouTube boxing scene has been growing bigger and bigger - it started with Joe Weller and Theo Baker, it led to me fighting Logan Paul."

"He’s done his thing with Mayweather and Jake Paul’s done his thing, but we (with Kalle Sutherland/Mams Taylor) had to clean it up and we have done that."

“This event is going to be the first of many. We are going to do more events in September, October, and maybe December.

“We’re gonna see knockouts. The whole card is stacked, we have an amazing undercard. With my fights as well, you’re going to want to see every minute of this event.”

The event is sold out at the O2 Arena, but is available to view via DAZN on Pay-per-view.
