KSI and Dillon Danis were scheduled to go toe to toe in the ring on January 14th before the MMA star backed out of the fight.
In a move that was unsurprising to anyone that had been following the saga, the YouTuber announced that his opponent was no longer keen on the bout.
The social media star was due to take on MMA fighter Danis, who hasn't actually been in action for three years, with the pair in a heated feud.

Danis turned up to a stream involving the Misfits gym last year, threw a punch at KSI and then launched a cup of coffee at the 29-year-old.
The two went back and forth before the fight was agreed to, however, after Danis failed to turn up to the pre-fight press conference doubts begun to arise.
The MMA fighter later voiced concerns over a rehydration clause that prohibited him from weighing more than 185lbs after the weigh-in.

KSI’s manager Mams Taylor dropped the clause but claimed Danis never responded.
He was later informed by the American’s Paradigm Management stable that Danis was pulling out.
Just as Alex Wassabi had done last year, KSI saw yet another opponent pull out on late notice.
However, this time around the YouTuber and his team were suitably prepared, by announcing a replacement opponent for January 14.

KSI tweeted: “The show must go on. I’m still fighting January 14th.”
He later revealed his opponent would be fellow YouTube-boxer FaZe Temper, tweeting: “Sidemen vs Faze. January 14th.”
And it’s safe to safe fans were suitably impressed with the replacement.

One Twitter user wrote: “This is literally better than Dillon, hell yeah.”
Another said: “This could actually be a pretty good fight, Temper puts in the work.”
A third tweeted: “This is actually a really good fight.”
A fourth added: “Great replacement, engaging fight with enough risk.”

Temper has been involved in the YouTuber-boxing scene for quite some time now with a record of 2-1.
He had impressed in his first two fights but was brutally knocked out on KSI’s undercard in August by Slim Albahner.
However, not everyone was happy with the replacement.
Five-time UFC champion Tyron Woodley claimed to have been in contact about the fight before KSI’s team pulled out.
He wrote: “You a whole b***h! KSI no one picked up the phone to execute the contract you sent me. Needed NO NOTICE! Temper you a G! All love to yo. You my brother! Whip this h**’s ass.”
