Tyson Fury is set to pocket a huge sum for his fight against Oleksandr Usyk but will have to pay a staggering amount of tax on his purse.
Fury, 36, will look to avenge his previous defeat that he sustained against Usyk in May in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday evening.
For the first fight, the pair earned a combined £116m, according to the Independent, with Fury pocketing a 70 percent share of the pot, which equates to £81.2m.

As the anticipation builds in the lead-up to the fight, fans have several questions, namely, ‘How much is he being paid?’
According to Jeffbet, the Morecambe-based fighter is set to earn £60m from Saturday’s fight with His Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC), which will take approximately 47% of Tyson Fury’s, which amounts to £26,986,203 paid as income tax and £1,202,010.60 as national insurance.
After deductions, this should leave Fury with a take-home amount of £31,811,786.40.

Usyk should also be set to earn more than he did back in May as he is the ‘A-side’ this time around, holding the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles.
The Ukrainian will reportedly take 60 percent (£90m) of the £150m combined purse this time, with Fury entitled to the other 40 percent (£60m).
The pair will then top up their hefty earnings through revenue from pay-per-view buys.

Fury has previously given contradictory takes on whether money acts as motivation for him.
"If it was belts that drive me, I'd go to Matalan and buy 50 belts,” he said in April 2024.
“It's the money that drives me, not the belts. I've been very open in my whole career, telling you all it's only about the coins, and I'll stand by it today… So for me to say to you all, 'Oh, I wanna win 20 belts, it's not about the money,' it ain't true, is it? It ain't true."
Although previously, in April 2022, the Manchester-born fighter explained how money has never been his reason for fighting.

"I don't care, I don't care what I've got.
"It's never been about money with me. I know a lot of people with money, big money - but none of them are happy.”
