Tommy Fury breaks silence on cheating rumours in first interview since split with Molly-Mae Hague

Tommy Fury's boxing career appears to be on the shelf while he sorts out his personal life following his split from Molly-Mae Hague

Tommy Fury has finally spoken out about rumours that his cheating caused his split from fiance Molly-Mae Hague.

The pair met way back in 2019 after Molly Mae entered the Love Island villa. She instantly caught Fury’s eye, and they seemed to form a suitable match.

Until rumours were circulating that Tommy ‘cheated’ on his partner, which caused their split.

In August, Molly announced their split with a social media post which shocked followers, with many wanting to know the reason for their separation.

"Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way," she wrote.

"I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end."

In the days that followed, boxer Fury became public enemy number one for fans of Mae, which could only be explained as similar to Sol Campbell’s relationship with Tottenham fans if we want to compare it to football, that is.

After a barrage of accusations from fans and media, Fury addressed the situation, maintaining his innocence in an interview with the Mail.

"All the allegations that were made of me recently are completely false," he said, adding that he had 'never' been tempted by other women.

"I think if you were going to cheat on someone you should just sit down and say, 'I don't love you any more', clearly, because you want to go and pursue other people.

"Everybody could think what they want about me and say what they want about me. As long as my family think I'm a good man and Jesus Christ thinks I'm a good man, I don't care what anybody else has to say."

He explained his desire for his family to be back together and maintained how he hoped things would work out.

The 25-year-old’s boxing career is seemingly on the shelf as he tries to sort out his personal problems.

He last fought in October 2023, when he beat KSI by unanimous decision in Manchester. Although his 10-0 record seems impressive, many of the names on it are influencers or journeyman professionals.
