Oleksandr Usyk predicts who would win out Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua after beating both men twice

Oleksandr Usyk predicts who would win out Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua after beating both men twice

Oleksandr Usyk outclassed Tyson Fury on Saturday night.

Oleksandr Usyk has predicted the winner of a fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua after beating both men on two occasions.

On Saturday, Usyk defended his WBO, WBA, and WBC titles after scoring a unanimous victory over Fury at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Judges Gerardo Martinez, Patrick Morley and Ignacio Robles scored the bout 116-112 in favour of the Ukrainian.

After losing to Usyk again, Fury has been urged to take on fellow Englishman Joshua in what is being described as the biggest fight in British boxing history.

Promoter Eddie Hearn said: "I don't think it's time to start screaming, this night is Usyk vs Fury, but the reality is there's only one fight for Tyson Fury and that's Anthony Joshua

"It's the biggest fight probably in the history of British boxing, everyone will always want to see it."

After his victory, Usyk spoke to Boxing King Media and was asked two questions about Fury and Joshua - Who was a harder overall opponent, and who would be the favourite between the two if they fought?

The 37-year-old responded by naming Fury as the more difficult opponent over their two fights but then claimed that Joshua would win on 'maybe points'.

Before his two fights with Fury, Usyk delivered two boxing masterclasses as he dominated AJ in September 2021 and August 2022.

Fury's promoter, Frank Warren, also spoke about a potential fight with Joshua.

He said to The Sun, via the Daily Mail: "It’s what people will want to watch. The Fury/Joshua fight is a great fight and if it happens it will be a mega fight, it will be brilliant.

"But it will only happen if Tyson wants to do it and that’s a big if. And if he doesn’t want to do it, then so be it."

However, it remains to be seen whether we will see Fury return inside the ring after the 36-year-old dropped a cryptic nine-word response when asked about his future.
