The three judges scored the fight 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73 in favour of the 27-year-old.
After the fight, Paul said: "I've been in this sport for four years, I've been so active. If people want to see more then give me a couple more months. I'm going to accomplish more.
"It can happen in the next 24 months, I believe I can become a world champion within six years of learning how to throw a f***ing jab. It'll be the greatest sports story ever. The cruiserweight division is pretty open."

Prior to the fight, Logan took to social media and wrote: "They told me I couldn't bring Prime into the stadium or they would forcibly remove me so this will have to do."
Logan posted an edited Prime bottle onto a picture of his hand.
After losing to Jake, Tyson called out Logan inside the ring.

"You got more in you, who crosses the mind?" Tyson was asked, to which he replied: "Oh, I don't know. Maybe his brother" – pointing at Logan.
Logan then commented: "Well f***, I'll kill you Mike."
Speaking after the bout, Jake revealed he suffered an ankle injury just two weeks before the fight with Tyson.
As reported by the Daily Mail, he said: "Two weeks ago I sprained my ankle, completely tore the ligament, anterior ligament and like snapped the other side of my foot.

"[I] Was on crutches for four or five days and it just hindered the end of my training camp. I don't know how it didn't get leaked or anything. I missed about two weeks of sparring and that's why my cardio didn't really feel so good tonight."
