An electrician who fought Shakur Stevenson on just four days' notice plans to quit his day job after earning a 'life-changing' purse.
Pound-for-pound boxing star Stevenson was set to defend his WBC lightweight title against Floyd Schofield on the undercard of Riyadh Season's The Last Crescendo event.
But Schofield was pulled from the card after he was hospitalised following an illness.
On fight week, Josh Padley, who beat Mark Chamberlain at Wembley Stadium last year, was drafted in on short-notice and replaced Schofield.

Padley received a phone call about the Stevenson fight, having worked as an electrician that week.
But the 29-year-old is set to quit his day job and become a full-time boxer after collecting a huge purse.
According to a report, Padley earned a cool payout of $500,000 (£395,000), which would mark the highest purse of his young career.
The Doncaster boxer delivered a valiant performance against Stevenson, who secured a stoppage victory in the ninth round of their championship clash.

After the fight, Padley revealed he can quit his day job as an electrician thanks to the money he pocketed for fighting Stevenson.
"Luckily I am in a position now where I can probably pack that in and fully dedicate my life to boxing," he explained. "I'm grateful for that, thank you to Turki for giving me that opportunity, we'll be back.
"There's more of that to come. That was four days' notice. Eight-week camp and I know I'll be better."

Padley added: "I would have loved to have got the win and there would have been some back story to it, but didn't get it.
"I tried my hardest, no regrets, I gave it everything I could, but the body wasn't conditioned to take them shots."
Before his defeat to Stevenson, the Brit was unbeaten and had won all his 15 fights, including a big scalp over Chamberlain on the Daniel Dubois vs. Anthony Joshua bill.
Having answered the late call and salvaged Stevenson's participation on the card, Padley could be in line for another opportunity on a Riyadh Season event.
