Tyson Fury's father John was left bleeding after an alleged violent altercation with one of Oleksandr Usyk's team ahead of their undisputed heavyweight title fight in Saudi Arabia.

Tyson Fury, 35, will take on Usyk, 37, on Saturday night with every major belt in the heavyweight division on the line.

Fury currently holds the WBC title, while Usyk carries the WBA, WBO and IBF straps - with the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 2000 set to be crowned this weekend.

The fight was originally due to take place on February 17 but Fury was forced to withdraw from the bout after sustaining a cut above his eye during sparring.

It is now finally set to go ahead and tensions boiled over on Monday when John Fury was left bleeding at a media day to promote the event.

Footage circulating on social media showed the 59-year-old bleeding from the head in the wake of a violent incident.

"I live for this f***ing s***," he screamed at the camera, while chanting "Fury, Fury, Fury."

In a clip published by Boxing King Media, Tyson Fury's brother Shane claimed that a headbutt had caused the injury.

"A little idiot got headbutted and he s*** himself," Shane Fury said.

Another clip circulating on social media showed John Fury going head-to-head with a member of Usyk's team while both camps chanted the name of their fighter.

Footage has since emerged of Fury appearing to aim a headbutt at a different member of Usyk's team, seemingly causing the injury.

Boxing reporter Michael Benson later shared another clip, claiming Fury was responsible for the headbutt.

He reposted footage of Fury screaming at Usyk's team, alongside the caption: "Tyson Fury's father John Fury angrily screaming at Oleksandr Usyk's team and being held back today after headbutting one of them and being left bleeding."

Another video on social media, taken after the event, showed John shouting at Usyk's team: "We ain't going nowhere, we don't go nowhere!"

Shane Fury was also furious with the member of Usyk's team, saying: "Is that not f****** daft? Stupid b******, show some respect. Is that not stupid getting in someone's face you f****** p****."

John Fury also targeted Usyk's promoter Alex Krassyuk, shouting: "We can't be beaten, anywhere we go. We are spartans, let's f****** go. Yous will get it, I live for this s***. Blood, guts and horror.

"I live for this s***."

Neither Tyson Fury nor Usyk appear to have been involved in the altercation, although the 'Gypsy King' was reportedly close by when it happened.

Boxing journalist Declan Taylor reported on X: "Tyson Fury, who had been in a side room doing an interview, comes out, takes one look at his dad and says: 'What's happened to your head you silly c***?'"

It is likely Saturday's fight will still go ahead despite the incident, given neither of the fighters were directly involved.

But it remains to be seen whether any further action will be taken against John Fury or the members of Usyk's team.
