Eddie Hearn was involved in an explosive row with Ryan Garcia’s dad.
Garcia scored three knockdowns to defeat WBC super lightweight champion Devin Haney and deliver one of the most sensational outcomes in recent memory.
The fight at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center has been downgraded to a non-title bout on Friday when Garcia weighed in at 143.2lbs, some 3.2lbs above the division limit.

Meanwhile, Garcia’s erratic behaviour both in person and on social media had marred the fight’s build-out, as did his ill preparation. In that context, the 25-year-old’s victory against the undefeated Haney was a shock for the ages.
Two judges scored the fight 114-110, 115-109 in Garcia’s favour while a third had it down as a draw at 112-112.
The bout's aftermath saw a heated altercation between Matchroom boxing chairman Hearn and Garcia’s father Henry.

Garcia Sr sparked the row by calling Hearn a “piece of s***” while the latter was giving an interview backstage.
Ironically Hearn was praising Garcia when his father said: "That's what you get. You're a piece of s***."
Hearn hit back: "Oh really? F*** you. F*** you, you little piece of s***. What are you talking about?"
Grabbing his crotch, Garcia Sr cried out: "F*** you, you know you're a piece of s*** and that's what you get.
"Now what are you going to say? Luke Campbell and Devin Haney, f*** you. Now who have you got?"

Hearn rebutted by proposing Jaron Ennis', to which Garcia Sr snapped out of his fit of rage and shook the promoter’s hand.
"You really thought I was crazy? You all lost your own minds," said Garcia after his fight."
Garcia, who extended his record to 25 wins and one defeat, added: "You guys over egg everything,"
Meanwhile, Haney said: "I'm disappointed about my performance. I [showed I] was a true champion and I could fight after being knocked down."
