Darren Till teases Jake Paul mega-fight with bombshell update and claims Premier League ground will host it

Darren Till teases Jake Paul mega-fight with bombshell update and claims Premier League ground will host it

Darren Till has dropped a major bombshell.

Darren Till has claimed a sensational fight against Jake Paul could be on the cards this summer with a major Premier League stadium teased as the venue.

Former UFC middleweight star Till made his Misfits boxing debut on Saturday with an impressive knockout victory over Anthony Taylor.

Till hasn't fought in the UFC since 2022 after he lost five of his last six fights in the organisation, and is set to remain a boxer for now following his debut win.

Speaking following his fight on Misfits, Till revealed he is heading back into training to prepare for his next fight.

He said via IFL TV: "I'll be ready for the date and I'm just going to train extra hard and if it is KSI, it is, and if it's not, it's not.

"I'm not going to particularly go looking for it. Misfits are with me now. So if it's KSI, it's KSI, but I won't be actively calling him out," he added.

KSI might seem like the obvious opponent for Till considering Wayne Bridge pulled out of the fight with the YouTuber, however, an even bigger fight looks to be on the cards.

On Wednesday the MMA star has teased a huge fight against Jake Paul this summer, with Liverpool's Anfield Stadium a potential venue.

Till wrote on X: "Just had some potential big fight news could happen in the summer #Anfield #JP #paul #Jake."

Both Till and Paul are openly supporters of Liverpool, with the American often posting during Premier League games featuring the reds.

Paul last fought in November when he defeated Mike Tyson via unanimous decision live on Netflix.

The Ohio born boxer faced a considerable amount of criticism for taking the fight against a 58-year-old Tyson, but a bout against someone of Till's calibre would certainly be a step up.

Paul has fought three former UFC fighters in his career so far, with two wins against Tyron Woodley who beat Till in the octagon, as well as wins against Anderson Silva and Ben Askren.
