Cristiano Ronaldo, Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn's immediate reaction to Fury vs Usyk scorecards

Tyson Fury was beaten by Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night.

Footage capturing the reactions of Cristiano Ronaldo, Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn as the Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk scorecards were being read out has emerged.

Fury and Usyk went head to head at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as both fighters looked to continue their unbeaten careers and become the undisputed heavyweight champion.

After a brilliant encounter, the fight went the full distance, with Usyk eventually coming out on top via a split decision.

As a result, the Ukrainian is now the first undisputed heavyweight world champion since Lennox Lewis, who achieved the feat back in 1999.

On Sunday morning, a video of Ronaldo, Joshua and Hearn, who were watching at ringside, reacting to the scorecards was posted online.

The trio were captured chatting about the fight as they patiently waited for the verdict.

When asked who he thought was the winner, Joshua said: “Usyk.”

The Brit’s promoter, Hearn, added: “I think it’s Usyk… I don’t think you can say Fury won the fight.”

Eventually, it was read out by Michael Buffer that judge Manuel Oliver Palomo scored it 115-112 in favour of Usyk, Craig Metcalfe awarded the fight to Fury 114-113 and Mike Fitzgerald scored the contest 114-113 for Usyk.

During an interview after the fight, Hearn was asked whether the Fury vs Usyk result impacts the future of Joshua.

He said: “Not really… we want to regain the world heavyweight title, so whoever has got it has got it.

“The rematch is a big fight. That looks like that’ll be set for October, if both guys take it, and we have to work on our plans, whether that’s Wembley, we’ll see what happens on June 1.”

It has been widely reported that Joshua could face the winner of the Zhilei Zhang vs Deontay Wilder fight, which is due to take place on June 1 in Saudi Arabia.
