Chris Eubank Jr has received a major punishment for slapping Conor Benn around the face with an egg during their pre-fight press conference last month.
The incident occurred after the pair faced off at the conclusion of the press conference, with both fighters exchanging words immediately before the slap.
Security quickly piled in to break up the furore, with Conor's father Nigel Benn even intervening before grabbing Eubank Jr by the throat.

Eubank Jr confirmed that his choice of an egg was due to the WBC ruling that Benn had not committed an intentional doping offence in October 2022 after deeming that a 'highly-elevated consumption of eggs' was a 'reasonable explanation' for an adverse finding.
That adverse finding occurred during a drugs test days before the original fight date.
Benn returned what promoters described as an 'adverse analytical finding for trace amounts of a fertility drug'. He was provisionally charged and suspended by the UK Anti-Doping Agency, with the ban lifted in October 2024.

He will now do battle against the IBO middleweight champion on April 26 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Eubank Jr has now learned his punishment for the 'egg slap' - and it is a significant one.
He has been fined a staggering £100,000 for the incident after being found to have been in breach of British Boxing Board of Control (BBBC) misconduct regulations.
A BBBC statement reads: "Following a hearing before the Stewards of the British Boxing Board of Control, Chris Eubank Jnr. was found to be in breach of Regulation 25 (misconduct) for his conduct at the press conference in Manchester for the Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn contest on 26th April 2025.
