Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez's upcoming bout with Terence Crawford has been simulated and ends with brutal knock-out, as anticipation builds for their super-fight.

The boxing world will turn its eyes to Las Vegas on Saturday night, when Alvarez and Crawford fight in one of the most anticipated bouts in years.

The Mexican is aiming to defend his undisputed super middleweight title.

Meanwhile, the American is aiming to become the first male boxer in the modern era to become undisputed across three divisions.

But Crawford has had to step up two full weight classes to fight Alvarez.

Excitement around the fight has continued to build in recent days, with Thursday's press conference in Las Vegas just adding to the hype.

Boxing fans around the world have been busy making predictions for how they think the right will unfold.

One supporter even decided to run a full simulation of the fight on the popular boxing video game Undisputed, which was released at the end of 2024.

In that virtual fight, publish on YouTube by Boxing Fight Simulations, Canelo knocked out Crawford in the ninth round to successfully defend his four belts.

The bout is also the first promoted under Zuffa Boxing, which was co-founded earlier this year by UFC CEO Dana White and Saudi Arabian sports promotor Turki Alalshikh.

White is one of the most recognisable faces in combat sports thanks to his role as UFC President and his previous work in promoting Conor McGregor's fight with Floyd Mayweather back in 2017.

Alalshikh has emerged as a big name in recent years, with Saudi Arabia increasing their influence within boxing and combat sports more generally.

In 2024, he was even recognised by Sports Illustrated as the most influential figure in boxing, following his purchase of Ring Magazine.

What are the key details for the fight?

It is set up to be one of the most watched fights in history, with the bout available at no extra cost to the more than 300 million Netflix subscribers worldwide.

For British viewers it means either a late night or an early start, with ring walks not expected until between 04:00 and 04:30 BST.

Crawford heads into the fight with an unbeaten record from his 41 professional fights.

Along the way he has beaten several big names, including Errol Spence Jr, Amir Khan and Ricky Burns.

Alvarez has fought 67 times and lost just two of his fights.

Crucially, he is undefeated at super middleweight, which has led many to view him as the favourite on Saturday night.
