Canadian athlete Alysha Newman has made a promise to her OnlyFans subscribers after winning gold in Paris.
On Wednesday night, the women’s pole vault final of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games took place at the Stade de France.
The event was won by Australia’s Nina Kennedy, with Team USA’s Katie Moon, who won in Tokyo three years ago, taking silver.

Canada’s Newman won the bronze, which was her country’s first-ever medal at the women’s pole vault.
During the competition, Newman stunned fans after she began twerking after clearing a height of 4.85m.
Explaining why she decided to celebrate in such a fashion, the 30-year-old said: “I'm so excited. I laugh because getting third is, I mean I've never got third, but it's funny because you have to still wait and sit there and wait until the other girls are done.

“So I'm so awkwardly standing there like, 'What do I do? Do I celebrate? Do I kiss everyone? Do I cry?’”
She added: “It was a really surreal moment and it was awesome. I just feel like I'm very emotionally stable right now and just feel so honoured to be the first (women's) pole vaulter to bring home an Olympic medal for Canada.”
Newman has an OnlyFans account and after her bronze medal win, she made a promise to her subscribers.
She wrote: “I did it! So happy to announce that I am taking home the BRONZE MEDAL and set a new NATIONAL RECORD for Canada.

“I am still buzzing from the energy!!! Thank you guys so much for sharing this moment with me, might pick up some presents for you guys before I leave.”
Previously speaking about her OnlyFans account, Newman said: “I post a lot of my training sessions, talk about nutrition and lots of tips and tricks. I earn money with what I post - you have to log in to find out. It makes me confident and I feel good about it.
“Of course, many people have a certain cliché when they think of OnlyFans. I can't change many people's minds. But this website has connected me with many fans, more than any other pole vaulter before.”

She continued: “What others think about it doesn't bother me. I am who I am and I do it well.”
