Speed has issued another challenge.

YouTube and Twitch star iShowSpeed called out another US Olympic sprinter ahead of his race with Noah Lyles.

Speed raced Lyles over 50m during a live stream earlier this month.

Lyles did come out on top, but the race was closer than many expected – although the Olympian claimed he started to high step once he took the lead.

Now Speed has claimed he will attempt to qualify for the 2028 Olympic Games, to be held in Los Angeles.

And he’s already challenged another Olympic sprinter to a race.

Ahead of their 50m battle, Speed and Lyles were debating over what distance to race as Lyles is the World and Olympic Champion over 100m.

Initially, Lyles suggested that if Speed wanted to race over 60m then he should call his USA teammate Christian Coleman, who is the world record holder over that distance.

But much to Lyles’ surprise, Speed claimed never to have heard of him.

“Who?” asked Speed.

Lyles explained: “Christian Coleman. He’s the world record holder in the 60m.”

And Speed wasn’t phased by the idea, insisting he would happily race Coleman as well.

Speed replied: “Call him up. He can get it too. Everybody can get it, but you’re going to get it first bro.”

Speed, whose real name is Darren Watkins, isn’t limiting his athletic challenges to sprinting either.

The YouTuber has claimed he could beat Jake Paul in a boxing match with just six months of training. Speed revealed he had seen ‘flaws’ in Paul’s boxing technique after watching his fight with Mike Tyson.

"If I have six months, all I need is six months [to train for a fight],” he said. “If I have six months of training, I'm beating any monster in this world.”

Speed added: “I feel like I can beat Jake Paul in a fight. Look, I respect his work ethic, but when I watch him box, he doesn’t look fluent. I feel like I could really get him. When you watch it, you see flaws in his game.”
