Olympics star who went viral for twerking celebration has made huge figure from OnlyFans since

Some of you may remember her celebration at the Olympics this summer.

Olympic pole vaulting star Alysha Newman is opting to use her ongoing OnlyFans success for good.

Newman, 30, won a bronze medal for Canada at the Olympic games this summer and saw her R-rated personal page crash after going viral.

Some may remember her twerking celebration inside the Stade de France back in August that sent shockwaves through the sport.

Newman broke a national record and became the first female pole vaulter to secure an Olympic medal for her country in the process.

But with the off-season having now commenced, Newman is once again bidding to fund the next generation of athletes in her own special way.

The Canadian regularly shares content on the adult-streaming platform, which charges users a monthly subscription of $12.99 (£10.20).

In a recent interview with the Toronto Star, Newman revealed how she wants to help with progression in pole vaulting by financially aiding those who need it most.

“If there’s any Olympic gift I can give my coaches," she explained.

"It’s to give them a facility where they can develop more pole vaulters, more high jumpers, more long jumpers, and Canada is dominating like crazy in the throws events."

With a lack of funding a major issue for the sport over in Canada, Newman's coach recently revealed she is yet to secure a training facility for the winter, having previously used an old marijuana grow-op.

Newman ended the season with an impressive showing in the Diamond League final in Brussels, finishing third overall.

Detailing her reasons for doing so, Newman showed little remorse when quizzed on the situation.

Set to host a gala fundraiser for her project to find a new training facility next month, varying reports have suggested

Newman has earned at least $155,800 (£117,822) since she began her online page.

The 30-year-old added: “I knew the stigma around [OnlyFans] and I knew I had a strong skin and a good backbone to be able to keep pushing through it because I wanted to monetise myself.

“I’ve loved the fact that I can turn my strength and my beauty on the track into revenue and an empire. Why wouldn’t I do that?"
