Arsenal are keeping tabs on Richarlison’s situation at Everton as talks to sign Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus develop, according to TeamTalk insider Graeme Bailey.
The Gunners have been linked heavily with Jesus over the past month but recent reports have seen the likes of Real Madrid and bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur join the race for the wantaway striker, now valued at £45 million by Premier League champions Manchester City.
As talks progress between the 25-year-old forward and the Arsenal camp, however, reports suggest the North Londoners are also weighing up a move for Jesus’ Brazilian compatriot and international team-mate Richarlison, who’s thought to be actively chasing an Everton exit.

Speaking on the ‘Talking Transfers’ podcast, Bailey reiterated Arsenal’s desire to land Jesus before name-dropping Richarlison, held in high esteem by the Gunners’ hierarchy.
“I think there are legs in this one yet,” Bailey stated about the hunt for Jesus’ signature.
“Arsenal are trying, there’s a chance, but I’d keep an eye on other players such as Richarlison - a player we know Arsenal like and have liked for a long time.
“His people are close to Edu (Gaspar), so I think he’s a player whose name will come up again and he may end up being more likely than Jesus.”

According to the Mirror, Richarlison has already outlined his wishes to depart from the Goodison Park outfit, who face a fight to slash their current wage bill after documented losses of £372 million over the past three years.
The same report believes the 25-year-old forward has already drafted his own wish-list of clubs he’d like to talk to, but Mikel Arteta’s men aren’t one of them at this point.
Richarlison has his eye on Champions League football with Chelsea headlining his list, alongside European heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
Due to Edu’s close links with the Brazil international’s camp, however, the dynamic could soon change should Arsenal register their interest.
