According to the reliable Charles Watts for GOAL, Arsenal are close to signing Brazilian international Gabriel Jesus.
Watts reports that talks with Manchester City are at a 'critical stage' and there is hope among all parties that an agreement will be reached quickly for the striker. City are valuing Jesus at £50m and the Brazilian's representatives are travelling to England to attempt to push the deal through.
Arsenal have been linked with Jesus for months now, with many sources naming the striker Mikel Arteta's top target.

Arteta previously worked at City with the forward's ability to press and carry the ball clearly appealing to the Spaniard, alongside his clear ability to put the ball in the back of the net.
Jesus would likely become Arsenal's main striker as Arsenal look to flood the team with technical ability. The signing of Fabio Vieira is yet to be confirmed but will add an exciting flair to the midfield alongside the brilliant Martin Odegaard.
Arsenal are also looking to sign Brazilian winger Raphinha this summer, as well as Lisandro Martinez and Youri Tielemans.
Should the Gunners be successful in completing deals for all their main targets, next season is surely one to be very excited about for Arsenal fans.
