Fan favourite Jack Wilshere has urged Gunners boss Mikel Arteta to sign Gabriel Jesus.
Speculation continues to swirl around the future of Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus, and a man beloved by Arsenal fans, Jack Wilshere, has encouraged his former captain to sign the Brazilian star.
Speaking to TalkSPORT, the Englishman argued that Arsenal “will be queuing up (for Jesus). I think Arsenal will have a big chance of signing him because of his relationship with his manager. I think Newcastle would go for him but I would love to see him at Arsenal.”

Mikel Arteta will be hoping the former Hale End graduate is right. The Spaniard spent three years on the blue side of Manchester, and players often spoke about how the man from San Sebastian had a hawkish eye for detail, improving the attacking players exponentially.
Raheem Sterling has spoken in the past about the influence the Gunners boss had on the players, saying that Guardiola “trusted him here and he had a lot of influence on the players here and the team as well.”
Those on the board at the Emirates will hope to use the last remnants of that influence in getting a deal from Jesus over the line, with Spurs and Chelsea said to be circling like vultures around the deal.
The Brazilian was in fine form at the end of the season, with 25 goal contributions in all competitions, at a rate of a g/a every 102 minutes. As Arsenal look to take the next step in their project, securing Champions League football, a deal for the Brazilian international seems increasingly integral to achieving those goals.
