Hale End sensation Bukayo Saka has dropped a huge hint regarding his immediate future on social media.
The 20-year-old was in scintillating form for the Gunners last season, oftentimes carrying the team on his young shoulders through turbulent spells. The Arsenal faithful recognised the talent, mental fortitude and undying desire to represent his boyhood club, nominating him Arsenal’s Player of the Season.
A bond between player and club has built like no other in recent memory, and Little Chilli took to social media to thank the fans for their support: "Hello Arsenal fans, I just wanted to say thank you for voting me as your player of the season again. It’s a real honour to win this trophy and I really feel all your love and support. See you next season."
The final line will put worried minds at ease, with the England international reaffirming his intention don the famous red and white of North London for another season. Saka’s career is in its infancy, and for the starboy to already be performing at such a high level, for him to pledge allegiance for the forthcoming season is crucial.

However, the vultures are circling, the duopoly at the top of the Premier League know the limitless potential the young star has. Both City and Liverpool have right-wingers entering the latter stages of their careers, so the chance to fill the role for upwards of a decade is incredibly appealing.
Arsenal will need to move fast, with Saka only on £30,000 a week, he earns far less than the top-earners of the squad, when he is undoubtedly the most important member of the team.
One would expect a new deal to at least triple his current salary, if not more, after all, the best players deserve the highest wages.
There’s a quiet optimism around the Emirates that the Arsenal Player of the Year will renew, however, until the mesmeric winger signs on the dotted line, that underlying uncertainty will remain.
