With lots of teams circling around yet another Arsenal target, it has been said the club need to act fast to secure the signing of a new central midfielder.
Youri Tielemans has been a target for Arsenal throughout the summer transfer window, and it appears negotiations are set to intensify in the near future.
Talk of the Belgian’s move to the Gunners had cooled in recent weeks but new reports say this is set to change.

According to the well-esteemed Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal have always maintained their interest and the player is also keen on a move to North London.
“Even though this particular saga has gone a little quieter in recent weeks, Arsenal have never changed their interest in signing Youri Tielemans."
"The Belgian midfielder has always been on the list, but no official bid has been submitted so far."

"From the player’s perspective, he still expects this move, but Arsenal will have to be quick as other clubs have been inquiring about Tielemans in the last few days.”
The midfielder is also in the final year of his contract and will therefore be available at a reduced price.
This would represent a cheaper-than-usual opportunity to add to Arsenal’s midfield where signings are very much needed.
The players’ interest in joining the club will also come as a major boost to Mikel Arteta as he looks to compete with other clubs for the 25-year-old.

With the North London side already battling with Manchester United for the signing of Lisandro Martinez, Edu and Co. won’t want to be embroiled in multiple sagas at once.
Arsenal have also been linked to Lille winger Edon Zhegrova.
It is still unclear whether the Belgian will end up in North London, but the signing of Tielemans would see Arsenal add a more advanced central midfielder to their ranks which the club has missed in recent years.
