“We are going to try.
"There are a few things we planned and if we could do them it would be great but we’re going to work with the players that we have”.
Arsenal fans have been clamouring for signings that will raise the level of their team.
In their season opener, Gabriel Jesus and Zinchenko provided glimpses of the quality that they hope to maintain for the rest of the season.

Jesus was a constant thorn in the side of the Crystal Palace defenders, never giving them a moment's rest on the ball and constantly hounding them out of possession.
His sharpness was on full display early on as he slalomed towards the box and the ball ricocheted to Gabriel Martinelli who really should have buried the chance.
Zinchenko displayed the technical ability that Arteta often raved about upon his signing.

He looked very assured on the ball and was constantly looking for the forward ball to keep his team on the front foot.
He was pivotal in the opening goal as his header at the back post was turned in by Martinelli to open the scoring.
After narrowly missing out on Champions League football last season, this level of quality is what Arsenal will hope for in any new arrivals.
After the display the team put on at Selhurst Park, the Arsenal faithful will surely be filled with optimism about this coming season.
