Two members of Arsenal folklore are set to venture into the world of club ownership, attaining shares in Serie B side Como 1907.
Thierry Henry and Cesc Fabregas are all but nailed on to be shareholders in the Serie B club, with the latter also being a player for the Italian side for the coming season.
Henry is etched into Gunners royalty, having inspired millions of children to support Arsenal.

A lot of current signings the board owe a debt to the Frenchman for, being an often cited reason for childhood support of the North London outfit.
Fabregas’ relationship with the Arsenal faithful is fractured in comparison to the esteemed royalty he’ll invest with.
Despite that, the Spaniard was an integral part of the Emirates era, carrying the Gunners to top four finishes single-handedly at times.
Como 1907 have experienced a sharp rise in recent seasons, being a Serie D outfit a couple of years ago.

Their supporters will hope with extra eyes (and funding), their pursuit of the Italian top division can become a reality rather than a dream.
Of course, with Henry this won’t be the first time he has endeavoured to find investment in a club.
Just one year ago, he was a member of the Daniel Ek backed consortium that sought to purchase Arsenal off the Kroenke’s.
