"I give a wave to my my mum each game, and it's just nice you know, it's making them proud.
"It's just great to have their backing because I know if I've done well they'll tell me.

Asked the question: "Do you think without their dedication or encouragement you'd be here?"
Ramsdale simply replies:
"No. There's no need to go further than that. Absolutely not.
"There's no way I'd be sat here right now without them two."

The Englishman's parents watch the game, their emotions captured by the cameras.
At one point Ramsdale attempts a risky play, touching the ball past Teemu Pukki.
This prompts the goalkeeper's dad to get up from his seat and turn away, with the nerves too much for him.
Ultimately, Arsenal win the game and Ramsdale keeps his clean sheet. A Premier League debut that has not seen him look back since.
Mum and dad celebrate their son's success in the stands, sharing a high five.
The young goalkeeper's family values will only prove to better his stead amongst the Arsenal fans, who have fallen in love with their new number one since his signing.
