Despite the transfer window still days from opening, Arsenal fans have seen strong links to two Premier league players. Youri Tielemans and Gabriel Jesus have been constantly linked to the Gunners with both players down to the last 12 months of their contracts at their respective clubs.
Jesus is widely accepted to be on his way out at Manchester City, with the Premier league champions signing Erling Haaland and Julien Alvarez, two younger players adept in the Brazilian's preferred position. Jesus has enjoyed a very positive five years with Manchester City, scoring 95 goals in all competitions despite his appearances often coming from the bench and not always in the number nine position.
Pep Guardiola went as far to describe the forward as "the best in the world" when it came to pressing, which will certainly fit the model implemented by Mikel Arteta at Arsenal.

Arsenal are looking to make a big signing up front to replace the departed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette with Jesus appearing to be the man they are most focused on.
Matt Law of the Daily Telegraph has today given a fresh update on the negotiations taking place between Arsenal and Manchester City. He claims Arsenal have scheduled new talks with Gabriel Jesus and believe they have currently demonstrated the strongest interest in the forward. They are now preparing to reiterate their determination to sign the striker this summer.
Manchester City are believed to value Jesus at £50m with Arsenal confident they can sign the player and match his wage demands. Arsenal's failure to finish in the Champions league spots could disadvantage their efforts.

Youri Tielemans is a slightly different case at Leicester City. The midfielder has enjoyed a very good three years at the King Power, a particular highlight being his winning goal in the 2021 FA Cup final. However now the Belgian International appears to be ready to seek a new challenge elsewhere.
Leicester signed Tielemans for £32m in 2019 and the midfielder has made 158 appearances for the club since. The 25-year-old won the club's player of the season award for the 20/21 season and has developed the reputation of a high quality Premier league player in that time. Known for his high technical ability on the ball and tactical nous.
Matt Law has also provided a positive update on Arsenal's move for the Belgian, stating Arsenal are hopeful of concluding a deal for Tielemans. The player had wanted to sign for a club in the Champions league but is believed to be ready to join Arsenal.
