Chelsea target Wesley Fofana is a fan of Kalidou Koulibaly as the Blues eye up a new and improved bid for the Leicester City defender.
The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge this summer, with Thomas Tuchel keen to add to his defence.
Marc Cucurella arrived from Brighton and Hove Albion on Friday, making his Chelsea debut just 24 hours later as a second-half substitute against Everton.

The Blues have struggled with defensive numbers following the departure of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger.
They brought in Koulibaly earlier in the summer, with the defender also making his debut against Everton in an impressive performance from the Senegal international.
It was reported that Chelsea are ‘obsessed’ with signing Fofana as a defensive option this summer, with bids of £60 million and £70 million already rejected this summer.

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers admitted that these were rejected, as he said: “There's been an offer to the club, but nowhere near the valuation of our ownership. We didn't even think about it.”
The Blues are set to go back in for the defender as they believe they can convince Leicester into selling one of their prized assets this summer.
As reported by Ben Jacobs, Tuchel’s side are preparing a ‘big third offer’ for the 21-year-old.

This bid will be ‘significant and more than fair’, with Chelsea not giving up on bringing the central defender to London before the end of the transfer window.
The report continues to state that a bid of £80 million to £85 million will test Leicester’s resolve, with them potentially changing their stance on his departure this summer.
Fofana has previously hinted at a transfer this summer following social media activity where he posted quotes and removed Leicester from his bio on Twitter and Instagram.

He has now dropped another hint, speaking in an exclusive interview with The Telegraph.
Fofana named Chelsea new-boy Koulibaly as one of his role models, before stating that he wants to win trophies in his career.
“I want to not only win trophies but try to be the best defender in my position in the world,” he said.
With Leicester in the process of rebuilding, it is unlikely that the defender will win a trophy at the club.

Chelsea would give him a bigger opportunity to do so, having reached two domestic cup finals last season and lifted both the UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup.
It remains to be seen as to whether he will end this summer as a Chelsea player, but the Blues will try to pair him up with his idol Koulibaly by the end of the transfer window.
