Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana believes that Chelsea’s latest offer for him was fair despite the Blues being £10 million off his valuation, according to reports.
The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer as the Blues look to add defensive reinforcements to their backline.
In recent days, Thomas Tuchel has commented on Chelsea’s need to look to the future as their current options at the back are ageing.

He said: “It is a lot of experience (with Silva, Azpilicueta and Koulibaly) and they have their quality and know what they are doing.
“We need to make sure we have a new generation to take over in the next few years but the guys are strong, that is why they have our trust. Yes, there needs to be a balance.”
Fofana has been linked with a move to Chelsea, with the Blues seeing two offers rejected for the defender as he dropped a hint that he could have already played his last game for Leicester, walking straight down the tunnel after their draw with Brentford on Saturday.

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed an initial bid from Chelsea was rejected, stating: “There's been an offer to the club, but nowhere near the valuation of our ownership.
"We didn't even think about it.”
Chelsea were then reported to have submitted an improved bid in the region of £70 million, which has also been rejected by the Foxes.
According to Ben Jacobs, Fofana believes that this bid was fair, with the player once again reiterating his desire to leave the club.

Furthermore, Miguel Delaney of The Independent has reported that Chelsea are currently £10 million short of Leicester’s valuation of Fofana.
The London club are preparing another bid, which could be accepted and grant Fofana his move to Chelsea this summer.
The feeling is that an offer of £80 million would be accepted by Leicester, with Tuchel pushing Chelsea to make the bid.
However, Jacobs believes that Chelsea won’t bid straight cash for Fofana in their next offer as they are hoping to offer under £80 million, with favourable add-ons.

The structure is said to be key to convincing Leicester City to sell their defender this summer, with less than a month left in the transfer window.
It remains to be seen as to whether the next bid from Chelsea will come closer to, or meet, the valuation of the player.
The Blues face Tottenham Hotspur next week on the second match of the Premier League season and will be hoping to have Fofana in as soon as possible.
