Sevilla are awaiting the documents for Chelsea to sign Jules Kounde as the player has taken to Instagram to send a cryptic message to his new club.
The saga took a turn on Saturday morning, when it was revealed that Chelsea will face a fight if they are to sign the 23-year-old.
Kounde had been heavily reported to join Chelsea in the coming days after Thomas Tuchel’s side had made a £55 million verbal bid to secure his services this summer.

Barcelona were said to have been beaten to the signing by the Londoners, who were expected to unveil their new defender soon.
However, developments this weekend revealed that the situation had changed dramatically, with Barcelona ‘99 percent’ confident of securing a deal for Kounde, who was said to be waiting for a move to the Camp Nou.
Sevilla have since declined these reports, with it believed that Chelsea are still in the driving seat for the youngster.

With the drama unfolding, Kounde has taken to Instagram to release a cryptic video, which has sent fans into discussion on social media.
The defender put a motivational video on his story, which said: “Dreams without goals are just dreams, and ultimately they fuel disappointment.”
Kounde’s intention by posting such video is unclear, with it still to be seen as to where he will end up this summer.
Chelsea are in dire need of central defenders, having lost both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.

While the Blues have already seen Kalidou Koulibaly arrive this summer, Tuchel is keen for further reinforcements at the back.
Cesar Azpilicueta could be set for a transfer to Barcelona if they miss out on Kounde, with it looking unlikely that Tuchel’s side would do business with the Spaniards if they successfully hijack the Kounde deal.
Barcelona have already hijacked one deal that Chelsea were involved in this summer.
