Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has been linked with a sensational move to London rivals Arsenal this summer.
The 31-year-old has just a year left on his contract at Chelsea, with a renewal yet to be discussed.
Kante is not part of Chelsea’s squad that are travelling to the United States of America for the pre-season tour due to his vaccination status in regards to Covid.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel previously revealed that he wants both Kante and midfield partner Jorginho to have their futures sorted out this summer.
"Nobody wants that with big players and important players nowadays (to lose on free transfers)," the Blues boss said. "It's a wish as a coach that we solve this in the summer in any way, that we solve it and it's clear where the journey is and what the decision is. Yes, this is the wish.
"(If not) we have the same talks that we have had about Toni (Antonio Rudiger) and Andreas (Christensen). You just swap the names. We would talk about it through winter and then comes January, and then agents are talking to this club and the brother another."
This led to speculation regarding Kante’s future at Stamford Bridge, with Manchester United said to be interested in signing the 31-year-old.
However, the Red Devils were 'conscious' of being used as leverage in any contract negotiations with Chelsea and downplayed their interest.

The speculation over Kante’s future did not stop with Man United however, as the latest reports have linked Chelsea’s London rivals Arsenal with a move for the Frenchman.
As reported by the Daily Star, the Gunners are considering an approach for Kante.
Mikel Arteta is said to want to add a world-class midfielder to his ranks as he looks to improve Arsenal.
With Kante’s contract running down, it is believed that Chelsea could cash in on their midfielder now.

It remains to be seen as to whether Arsenal’s initial interest will be acted on in the summer window and as to what the future holds for Kante, who remains in England with Loftus-Cheek during Chelsea’s US tour.
