Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly is believed to have pleased Manchester City with his negotiations for Raheem Sterling this summer, according to reports.
The winger is set to become the club’s first signing of the summer this window as he makes the move from the Etihad Stadium to Stamford Bridge after seven years at the former.
Sterling will arrive in west London with a depth of Premier League experience, having made 320 appearances in the top flight of English football during his time at Liverpool and City.

Such an addition will provide Chelsea with a much needed boost in terms of attacking talent, with some of their current options struggling for the side in recent seasons.
Although the 27-year-old is making the move from one top six side to another, talks between the two clubs appear to have progressed well in the last few weeks.
Ben Jacobs has revealed that, according to one City source, Boehly has been showing “No games, no ego…” throughout negotiations for the attacker.

Such a claim is also being backed up by other reports, as Napoli are thought to be ‘impressed’ with the Chelsea co-owner during talks for Kalidou Koulibaly, another summer target for the Blues.
As a result, an announcement of Sterling’s arrival at the Blues is thought to be very soon, particularly when he has already travelled to Los Angeles to take part in Chelsea’s pre-season training camp.
The England international snubbed moves to London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in favour of one to Stamford Bridge, with the forward wanting to join an ‘elite European club’.
Sterling has already penned his farewell message to City as he prepares to get stuck in at his new club, saying: "Seven seasons, eleven major trophies, a lifetime of memories.

"To the coaching staff who have played a massive role in my development over the years, to my teammates who have become more than just those I share a pitch with, to the backroom staff, to the office staff, to the fans who have tirelessly supported the team, and to everyone involved with Manchester City, my respect for you couldn’t be greater.
"What a ride it’s been.
"I am thankful for the ups and the downs. As it’s the downs that have, at times, tested my strength and resolve, and enabled me to stand here in front of you as the best possible version of myself.
