Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has sent a message to his squad after the Blues have received three red cards in three Premier League matches.
The Blues came out 2-1 victors against Leicester City in the Premier League.
However, it was not made easy as Chelsea were reduced to 10 men after Conor Gallagher picked up two yellow cards in the first half.
Despite the disadvantage, Raheem Sterling bagged a brace to help his side come away with three points at Stamford Bridge.
The clash was made nervy towards the end, with Harvey Barnes halving the defecit.
Chelsea held on and showed defensive resiliance as Leicester are still seeking their first victory of the season.
Gallagher's red card made it three dismissals in three matches for Chelsea, with Tuchel himself sent off after an altercation with Antonio Conte against Tottenham Hotspur.
Kalidou Koulibaly was dismissed against Leeds United last week in a 3-0 loss, receiving two yellow cards, much like Gallagher.
Speaking to the press after the match, as quoted by Adam Newson, Tuchel sent a message to his side.
The head coach provided context to the dismissal's before stating that they must be more disciplined.
"Don’t include mine it was after the final whistle and the other ones to be precise were two yellows, yellow-red," he said.
"Two of them totally were unnecessary and that is part of the analysing of the situation.
"Twice it is absolutely not necessary and to give such a huge disadvantage we have to stop doing this. We cannot behave like this if we are on yellow cards. We have to learn very, very fast. This must be the absolute exception from the rule and cannot be repeated."
Gallagher has penned an apology for his yellows, with Tuchel and Koulibaly serving their suspensions against Leicester.
The midfielder will miss Chelsea's trip to Southampton on Tuesday, with the Blues short for numbers after N'Golo Kante suffered a hamstring injury.
With just days left of the transfer window, it remains to be seen as to whether Tuchel will look to enter the market to sign a midfielder.
There have been previous links to Frenkie de Jong of Barcelona, but the Dutch international has remained a Barcelona player so far.
