Thomas Tuchel’s stance on Adrien Rabiot has been revealed as Chelsea outline their plans for the summer transfer window, according to reports.
Upon the arrival of Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital as the Blues’ new owners, Tuchel is set to be given around £200 million to spend in the market, as well as the opportunity to take the lead when it comes to their transfer business.
Romelu Lukaku is on the verge of departing the club and heading back to Inter Milan on loan, having only signed for Chelsea last summer for a club record fee of around £97.5 million.

It spells the start of the club’s business ahead of the new season, with the World Champions eyeing a Premier League title challenge after their turbulent campaign just gone.
One of the players linked with a move to Stamford Bridge is Rabiot, and Tuchel’s stance on the player has been revealed amid a potential move.
As reported by Nathan Gissing, the German boss is a fan of the central midfielder who currently plays for Juventus.

The pair worked together at Paris Saint-Germain and Tuchel liked him at the Parc des Princes, but there is not yet thought to be anything advanced in terms of a deal as of now.
This comes as the Telegraph have reported that Rabiot wants to leave Juventus this summer and join a side in the Premier League.
The Old Lady have agreed to grant such a request for the French international, and he could be available for a fee between £13-17 million.
It is also thought that he would like to join a side who have qualified for the Champions League next season, meaning that Chelsea are in with the chance of signing him should they look to make a move for the 27-year-old.

While Rabiot would come in to bolster the club’s options in midfield, the aforementioned report from Gissing has revealed that Chelsea are set to focus on strengthening both their attack and defence this summer.
The likes of Ousmane Dembele and Raheem Sterling have been linked with moves to the club for the forward positions, with their respective futures at Barcelona and Manchester City still unclear as the window progresses.

Dembele could be available on a free transfer, while Sterling's transfer may cost the club around £60 million if he was to sign from their Premier League rivals.
Jules Kounde has been a long-standing target for the centre-back position, and he could finally make the move from Sevilla to Chelsea this summer.
