Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has commented on the possibility of signing a new deal at the club, with his current contract set to expire next summer.
The Brazilian signed for the Blues in the summer of 2020, arriving at Stamford Bridge as a free agent from Paris Saint-Germain.
Since his move to the Premier League, the 38-year-old has quickly become a fan favourite in west London, with the centre-back performing to the highest level despite his age.

Silva initially signed for Chelsea on a two-year-deal, but he extended his stay at the club earlier in the year, with his deal now lasting until summer 2023.
He has already won the Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup at the Blues, but he will surely be evening more silverware this season.
Silva spoke to the media ahead of their Champions League group stage clash against his former side AC Milan on Tuesday night.
When asked about his future at Chelsea he said: "It's probably not the right time to talk about a new contract.

"For me, what is important is to keep playing at a high level and achieving the best results.
"There will be the time when we need to talk, before or after the World Cup, so we will see what happens."
The centre-back also shared his thoughts on his return to the San Siro.
"There is a great emotion tomorrow night," said the football veteran.

"My wife was very moved when we were in London and we played against Milan. So tomorrow night, my wife will cry, but in the end I hope we will be able to laugh together after a win."
Chelsea boss Graham Potter praised the defender during his pre-match press conference, with the head coach preparing for his fifth match in charge at the club.
When asked about the impression Silva has made, he said: "I've been here three or four weeks and I see his qualities. He is an incredible person and player.

"The performance levels he can reach and the amount of respect he has in the game is incredible."
The Blues are unbeaten in all competitions since Potter arrived as their head coach from Brighton and Hove Albion.
They have been victorious in their last three matches, beating Crystal Palace and Wolves in the Premier League and Milan in the reverse Champions League tie last week.
Chelsea are currently second in Group E of the European competition, a victory on the road would take them one step closer to the knockout stages.
