Chelsea could face Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Celtic in the 2022-23 Champions League group stages, after Absolute Chelsea simulated the draw ahead of the actual event.

Thomas Tuchel's side will learn their European fate on Thursday evening when the draw takes place in Istanbul, Turkey at 5pm (BST).

Chelsea were knocked out in the last-eight last season and are eyeing their third Champions League triumph this season.

Ahead of the draw, we pre-drew the 32 teams into the eight groups of four and it handed Chelsea a challenging set of fixtures.

It placed them against Real Madrid, who knocked them out last season, as well as trips to Germany and Scotland to face Borussia Dortmund and Celtic respectively.

Here is the third round draw as simulated by Absolute Chelsea.
