Romelu Lukaku’s lawyer has opened up on his departure from Chelsea, discussing the Belgian’s relationship with Thomas Tuchel.
The 29-year-old sealed his return to Inter Milan on Wednesday, joining on a season-long loan after a disappointing season at Stamford Bridge.
The forward bagged 15 goals over the course of the season, which was a controversial one off-the-pitch.

Lukaku set-up an unauthorised interview with Italian media back in December, declaring his dream of returning to the Serie A in the future.
During the interview, Lukaku criticised the tactics deployed by Tuchel at Chelsea.
As quoted by Siavoush Fallahi, Lukaku’s agent Sebastien Ledure opened up on his departure.

Discussing the controversial interview, he admitted: “No, that interview was made with his heart and maybe it was clumsy and wrong. It was an initiative he made by himself and that he probably wouldn’t do again.
“He suffered the consequences of that the rest of the season & it made his daily work environment harder.”
The lawyer then continued to open up on Lukaku’s strained relationship with Tuchel, with the pair not sharing the same footballing vision.
"However Romelu told me he’s 29 and at the prime of his career, he couldn’t afford to lose another year. It’s not a secret him and the coach don’t share visions,” he continued.
It was previously revealed that Tuchel made a joke towards his striker, in regards to his former boss Antonio Conte.

The German reportedly said: "There's your daddy" when Conte saw Lukaku as Chelsea faced Tottenham Hotspur last season, a joke that did not go down well with the Belgian.
Tuchel is targeting several replacements for the Belgian already this summer, with terms already agreed with Leeds United over a £55 million move for Raphinha, while Raheem Sterling is set to join the club also.
Chelsea’s new owners are acting fast as they look to rebuild the squad ahead of a potential Premier League title challenge next season.
However, this is one that Lukaku will not be a part of as he moves on loan to Milan.

Lukaku’s lawyer continued to reveal that other clubs were interested in his client but would not disclose names.
“Big clubs I can’t tell the name of wanted to sign romelu, but it never became concrete because he decided very early that he wanted to join Inter. He talked to the coach a lot just like he did with Antonio Conte in 2019 so he was sure they shared the same visions,” he said.
It remains to be seen as to what the future holds for Chelsea’s club-record signing, who will spend at least one season back in Milan before the Blues must decide on a more permanent solution.

The Blues will be hoping to recoup much of the £97.5 million paid for the Belgian at some point in the future.
