RB Leipzig boss Marco Rose has deemed Christopher Nkunku's reported pre-contract agreement at Chelsea as 'speculation'.
Chelsea had a record-breaking summer transfer wise but are still looking to secure further additions in the coming windows.
The new ownership team, fronted by Todd Boehly, are keen to strengthen and build upon what they already have at Stamford Bridge.

Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were the big name signings that arrived in a window where in excess of £250 million was spent.
The Blues dealt with RB Leipzig in the summer as well, with Timo Werner returning on a permanent deal to his former club, but now they are keen on acquiring from them.

Reportedly the west London side are ready to land a double swoop from the German side.
Chelsea are ready to make a move for Josko Gvardiol, a 20-year-old defender from Croatia.
On top of this, a major move has been made for Frenchman Nkunku with the Blues reportedly agreeing a pre-contract ahead of next summer.
The forward signed a new contract extension with Leipzig in June until 2026, but that has not deterred interest.

Nkunku has a €60 million release clause that activates next summer and a lot of clubs are hopeful of acquiring his signature.
He has been linked with clubs such as Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester united and his former club Paris-Saint Germain.

Chelsea however look to be leading the race, previously it has been reported that he held a secret medical with the Blues at the end of the transfer window.
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Chelsea have also agreed to pay in excess of his €60 million release clause to wrap up a deal.
At 24-years-old, Nkunku was one of the best players in the Bundesliga last season, he scored 20 goals and provided 13 assists as well. This season he has already tallied up a total of six goals.

Chelsea are keen to add that kind of firepower to their side and although Leipzig will want to retain him, it looks unlikely.
Head coach, Rose spoke on the situation in a press conference on Tuesday ahead of Leipzig's Champions League match against Celtic.
"It's speculation, we don't comment on it," he said: "We don't care, we don't care."
Should Chelsea complete a transfer for Nkunku, he could significantly bolster the attacking output from the Blues.
