Raheem Sterling has one final step before being allowed to join up with his Chelsea teammates on their pre-season tour of the United States, it has been revealed.
The 27-year-old is set for a move to Stamford Bridge after the Blues agreed a £47.5 million fee was agreed with Manchester City.
The winger has also agreed personal terms, said to be worth over £300,000 as he is set to become one of the top three most paid players in the Premier League, as reported by Matt Law.

Sterling will make the switch from the Etihad to Stamford Bridge following talks with Thomas Tuchel, where the German explained his role at the club.
Tuchel is said to have told Sterling how the Blues intend to maximise his output at the peak of his career, which was a key selling point to the England international, as reported by Nick Purewal.
The Blues flew to the United States of America on Saturday as they started their two-week pre-season camp.

During this time, Tuchel’s side will face Club America in Las Vegas, Charlotte FC in Charlotte and Arsenal in Florida.
Sterling will be hopeful of joining his new teammates before next Sunday’s clash against Club America.
However, it has been revealed that there is one more step until he can fly to America.
As reported by Ben Jacobs, Sterling must first complete his medical in London before joining his new teammates in America and working ahead of the new season.
He will also likely complete his media duties as the announcement is prepared but it remains to be seen as to whether this will be done in London or when he travels to North America.

Once the signing is complete, Chelsea will turn their attention to bringing in further reinforcements as Tuchel looks to build a title winning squad at Stamford Bridge.
Raphinha is likely to be the next transfer target to be sorted, with Chelsea being handed a boost in recent days as he could reopen talks with the Blues if Barcelona do not sign him within 48 hours.
Furthermore, Chelsea could push on in their pursuit of Manchester City defender Nathan Ake to see him join Sterling in moving to London.

The 27-year-old has been identified as a target by Tuchel as they search for defensive replacements.
Both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen departed the club for moves to La Liga this summer.
It remains to be seen as to who will follow Sterling in, but the England star looks set to become Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital’s first signing as owners of Chelsea.
