Raheem Sterling is on his way to join his new Chelsea teammates in Los Angeles, it has been revealed.
The 27-year-old is set to sign a long-term contract with the Blues after a fee was agreed with Manchester City earlier this month in a deal worth an initial £47.5 million.
Sterling will become the first summer signing of the Todd Boehly-Clearlake Capital era, and the first acquisition for Thomas Tuchel this summer.

He could be joined by current City teammate Nathan Ake, with personal terms agreed and talks ongoing over a transfer fee.
But the deal to bring Sterling to Stamford Bridge is done and he is now on his way out to America and Los Angeles to link up with his new teammates, as reported by Adam Newson, based in Los Angeles.
Sterling’s announcement is all that is left to officially announce his arrival at Chelsea, marking the start of the summer spend in the capital.
Chelsea are currently out in the United States for a week-long training camp at the UCLA campus, before heading to Las Vegas for their match against Club America on Saturday evening (local time).

Boehly and co wanted to help the rebuild as they eye sustained success in west London, ambitions which were outlined to the squad, Reece James previously revealed.
"That not much is changing," responded James when asked about what Boehly had told the squad about the new ownership.
"He’s here to win trophies still. Nothing changes from the club perspective."
Sterling is set to sign a five-year contract at Chelsea worth in excess of £310,000-a-week, becoming the club's highest paid player in the squad.

Kalidou Koulibaly could also join him soon with talks ongoing between Napoli and Chelsea over a £34 million fee.
Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy hinted that Chelsea may have already landed defensive signings after losing Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
He told the media: "We were happy with Toni, with Christensen, but I think we are more than happy with the defenders who will arrive for us."
Mendy added: "We have a new owner so it's a new era. Some people are coming and some have left us. That’s life in the club. But we are excited to start."

Chelsea are set to see up to six new signings this summer and Sterling is well on his way to becoming a Blue and bolstering the attack which Tuchel hinted needed improving.
