Raheem Sterling is looking forward to challenging for trophies at Chelsea following his departure from Man City, including the Champions League which he is yet to win.
Chelsea’s opening signing of the summer transfer window is anticipating an exciting season under the management of Thomas Tuchel.
Making the switch from Manchester to London, Sterling signed a five-year-deal with the Blues in a move worth up to £50 million.

He was unveiled as the first signing of the Todd Boehly-Clearlake Capital era at Stamford Bridge after he linked up with the squad on their United States tour.
Swiftly after this, Sterling was accompanied by another new signing, Kalidou Koulibaly who arrived to the side from Napoli.
While the defender is yet to make an appearance in a Chelsea shirt, Blues fans got the opportunity to see Sterling make his debut against Charlotte FC in North Carolina.

Coming off the bench for the second half, Sterling was handed the chance to impress, he was one of the bright sparks with his driving forward runs and he rounded off a good display by converting his penalty in a shoot-out that the Blues lost 5-3 having drawn the game 1-1.
With one more game to go against Arsenal in America for Chelsea, the tricky winger will be hoping to demonstrate his talent once again and get more minutes under his belt.
Last season, Sterling was in delightful form for Man City, he netted 13 times and provided five assists in 30 appearances in the Premier League.

If he can replicate that kind of goalscoring form for the Blues, then he will be a fantastic tool for Tuchel to utilise.
The 27-year-old has high ambitions and is looking forward to being a part of the project, he shared: “The first thing that excites me about coming to Chelsea is seeing the last two years, four or five finals you guys have been in. The progress, you’ve won the Champions League, to challenge for the Premier League is something that intrigued me.”
He continued: “To see the direction you guys are going, it’s something I’ve bought into. I think it’s a place where I can come into my own. It’s the perfect platform for me.”
Chelsea is an ideal fit for Sterling, he wants to challenge on all fronts for trophies and has already established some good relationships with his teammates.

Speaking on this, he detailed: "It's been a great first week settling in. I feel at home now. The boys have made me feel welcome. It's been a good first week."
He then added: “I know a few of the boys from national team, Mase and Chilly to name a few. I’ve got a good connection with Callum already.
“Playing against each other you speak to players on matchdays as well. It’s always been a group that has always been a good feel. They welcomed me really well. I can’t wait to gel even more with them.”
Hopefully, Chelsea can see this connection out on the pitch, with the season approaching rapidly, it is a huge advantage that Sterling already feels this settled to life under Tuchel.
